How it began...

Simcoe Watershed Art Project: Lake Simcoe Watershed Region, Ontario, Canada; An environmental art project initiated by Jennie Clark (2008). In 2009 an Ad Hoc art group was formed, artists Mary Cellucci, Carol Deimling, Jeanette Luchese and Karen Wild banded together to form the Steering Committee, headed up by Jennie Clark to promote environmental awareness through visual art projects throughout the Lake Simcoe Watershed Region in Ontario.

About the Project

“Simcoe Water Shed Art Project ” is a visual arts project, with an environmental theme, created to involve the regional arts communities, within the Lake Simcoe watershed, in the expression and documentation of the cultural diversity, beauty and fragility of Lakes Simcoe and Couchiching.
